Adrian, founder of Element for Men

Our story

Everything you wear goes through the same wash.

It is the last step in getting dressed, and the only one nobody bothered to design. That is the entire reason Element exists.

Adrian Founder, Element for Men

Why I built Element

I did not set out to start a laundry brand. I set out to fix something small and quietly annoying.

You can spend money on good clothes. A good fragrance. A decent haircut. Then you put on a shirt that smells of nothing — or of the cupboard it dried in. And there is nothing in that aisle for us. Flowers, springtime, a plastic jug the size of your forearm. Nothing you would actually choose.

So I built the thing I wanted to own. Not a cleaning product with scent bolted on at the end, but a fragrance you happen to wash with. Three of them, each made twice — a sheet for the wash, a softener for the rinse — because that is what makes a scent still be there at four in the afternoon.

Laundry is the last step in getting dressed.
It should feel like it.

This has happened before

Every one of these started as a joke.

Ten years ago, a man using face moisturiser was a punchline. Today over half of UK men use skincare. Each one went from ridiculous, to normal, to a market.

  1. 01ShampooOne bottle for the whole house. Then one chosen for you.
  2. 02SkincareMocked, then ordinary. Now a routine nobody skips.
  3. 03FragranceNot a gift you receive. A signature you choose.
  4. 04LaundryThe last shelf nobody has looked at properly. We are looking.

How it is made

Designed in Britain. Made by specialists.

We would rather tell you this plainly than have you go looking for it.

A British brand

Founded, run and registered in the UK. The scents, the formulas, the packaging and the standard are decided here — nothing is handed to a factory to interpret.

2 manufacturing partners

Our sheets and softeners are manufactured in China by 2 partners who build this format for a living — to our formulas, our fragrance briefs and our quality standard. We chose them on capability, not on postcode.

International perfumers

Fragrance developed with perfumers who make scent for a living, and formulated in line with IFRA — the standards the fine fragrance houses work to. Small brand. Grown-up supply chain.

Made by specialists, sold direct, nothing in the middle. That is why a product built to fine fragrance standards does not carry a fine fragrance price.

We ship within the United Kingdom only, for now. Full ingredient breakdown, allergens and all: what is inside Element.

Honestly

It is not for everyone.

Some people will read this and think: it is laundry, mate. Fair enough. Buy whatever is on offer.

Element is for the other kind. The ones who iron a shirt they could have got away with not ironing. Who know exactly which fragrance they wear and why. Who understand that how you feel getting dressed sets the tone for everything after it.

If that is you, you already knew before you got to this line.

Where we are

We are still early. That is the good part.

3 scents. 2 formats. That is where Element is today and we are not pretending otherwise.

More scents are coming, and products that sit either side of the wash — same drawer, same standard, same restraint. A brand you can trust in ten years is worth more than a range you can launch in ten weeks. The people here now get first sight of all of it.

The Fold

Not a signup. A standing.

For the people who keep coming back. A numbered membership, free delivery once you are established, first sight of every new scent before it goes public. There are 500 numbers. That is the ceiling.

Not sure where to start? Find your scent in 60 seconds.

Straight answers

The questions people actually ask.

Is Element for Men a real company?

Yes. Element for Men is the trading name of Element Essentials Men Limited, registered in England and Wales under company number 16282325. The registration is public on the Companies House register. Founded 2025, trading directly at elementformen.com.

Who founded it?

Adrian, in 2025, after finding that the laundry aisle was functional, generic and quite clearly designed for somebody else.

Where is it made, and where do you ship?

Element is a British brand — founded, run and registered in England and Wales. The products themselves are manufactured in China by 2 specialist partners who make detergent sheets and softeners for a living, to our formulas, our fragrance briefs and our quality standard. The scents are developed with international perfumers and formulated in line with IFRA.

We chose those partners on capability rather than postcode, and buying direct from them — no supermarket, no distributor, nothing in the middle — is why a product built to fine fragrance standards does not carry a fine fragrance price. We ship within the United Kingdom only.

What does Element actually sell?

Laundry detergent sheets and 1L fabric softeners, in 3 scents — Night Fold, Ocean Air and Wild Spice. Every scent exists in both formats. Sheets come 30 to a box and give up to 60 washes depending on load size, because they are perforated to split in two.

What makes it different from other laundry brands?

Every fragrance exists as both a sheet and a matching softener. Detergent is rinsed away during the wash; conditioner is deposited in the final rinse and stays on the fibre. Matching the two lays the same scent down twice, which is what makes it still be there at the end of the day. Most sheet brands do not offer a matching conditioner at all.
