Share your code

Every Element customer gets a personal, one-of-a-kind code — it looks like EFM-7WCPFN. Text it, WhatsApp it, pass it on over coffee. It gives your friend £5 off their first bundle (minimum £14.99).

They pick a scent — bundles here — and enter your code at checkout. A £14.99 bundle becomes £9.99. First order only; the code works once per person.

£5 lands on your account

Once their order ships, we add £5 of store credit to your Element account — usually by the next evening. No voucher, no code: it's simply there waiting for your next order.

How to spend your £5 — in three lines

  1. Sign in at checkout with the email you order with (the account your orders live on).
  2. Your credit appears as a payment option and applies automatically — you'll see the total drop before you pay. Nothing to type.
  3. Credits add up in one balance: two referrals means £10 off one order, or £5 off two — your choice. Credit is valid for 6 months.

Referral questions, answered

Where do I find my referral code?

It's emailed to you after your first order — search your inbox for "Element". Can't find it? Message us and we'll resend it. Every code is unique to you and randomly generated, so it can't be guessed.

What exactly does my friend get?

£5 off their first Element order of £14.99 or more — so a £14.99 bundle costs them £9.99. The code works once, on a first order only, and can't be stacked with other discounts.

When and how do I get my £5?

As soon as your friend's order ships, £5 of store credit is added to your Element account — typically by the next evening. You don't receive a voucher or a code; the credit sits on your account and applies itself when you're signed in at checkout.

I referred two friends. How do I use £10?

Credits pool into one balance. Shopify checkouts only accept one discount code at a time — but store credit isn't a code, it's a payment method. So your £10 applies in full on a single order, alongside any one discount code you might also have.

How long does my credit last?

Six months from the day it's issued. It has no cash value and can't be transferred, but it works on anything in the store.

Can I use a friend's code if I've bought before?

No — referral codes only work for brand-new customers on a first order. Existing customers get their rewards by referring, not by swapping codes.

Is there a limit?

Ten rewarded referrals per quarter. Three successful referrals also earn a free bundle (one per quarter). Self-referrals — same person, household, address or payment method — don't count.

Referral programme terms

  • The referred friend must be a new Element customer placing their first order of £14.99 or more. The £5 welcome discount applies once per customer and cannot be combined with other discount codes or the subscription discount.
  • £5 referrer credit is issued as Element store credit after the friend's first order has shipped and passed our returns window checks. Store credit applies automatically at checkout when you are signed in with your account email, pools into a single balance, and expires 6 months after issue.
  • Referral codes are unique, randomly generated and personal to your account. Codes shared publicly (coupon sites, mass posting) may be deactivated.
  • Three successful referrals earn a free bundle (one per customer per quarter). Maximum 10 referral rewards per customer per quarter.
  • Self-referrals (same person, household, address or payment method) are void. Element may withhold rewards where fraud or abuse is suspected and may amend or end the programme at any time with reasonable notice. Credits have no cash value.
